The Party Wall etc Act 1996 sets out a series of procedures that should be adopted by a building owner or developer to notify the adjoining owner of the intention to carry out work. This relates to work adjacent to a property, cutting into the adjoining owner’s property or building on or close to the boundary line. We act for both building owner and adjoining owner.
Access and Over sailing Agreements
Developments can often become protracted by current legislation. Party Wall Agreements often allow access for building owners/developers, sometimes however this is not the case. We have expertise in preparing Access Agreements and Over sailing Agreements which can safe guard your development allowing the programme not to be threatened.
