Wakemans’ specialist hotel and leisure sector team have considerable knowledge in this sector, assisting developers and hoteliers to plan and deliver a variety of projects including new build Hotels, Pubs and Cinemas, as well as adaptations of existing buildings, extensions and refurbishments.
Our team can assist Clients with pre-contract development proposals throughout all stages to post contract management of new build projects. We also have expertise in the development and implementation of new hotel freehold and leasehold offers.
In addition to our usual remit, we have assisted hoteliers on a wide variety of bespoke projects that have included:
- Developing procurement strategies for sites from inception to completion.
- Procurement, supply agreements, programming and ordering of fixtures, fitting and equipment.
- Advising and assisting in the negotiations of agreement for lease, agreeing technical specifications and drawings on behalf of the hotelier.
- Development and management of hotel specifications.
- Implementation of in-house maintenance teams.
- Acquisition proposals and re-branding of existing premises.
- The management of refurbishment and re-cycling of fixtures and fittings.
- Advising on aftercare processes and procedures.
