Andy O’Connor is an associate director in Wakemans’ Industrial & Logistics team, where he brings cost management expertise to projects of significant scale and complexity. How do you spend your time outside work?
I like to keep active with my three kids — whether we’re out and about or causing chaos indoors. I also run the line for my son’s Under 10s football team.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve had to budget for on a project?
Tunnelling under the M42 motorway to install drainage connections — not your everyday line item.
What would you add to your dream home?
Lots of glazing to let in as much natural light as possible.
