What would you add to your dream home?
A sauna and a plunge pool — the perfect way to relax.
How do you spend your time outside work?
I’m a fan of football and cricket, and I spend plenty of time following whatever my kids are currently into. I once did a skydive in Australia and also spent a season skiing in France — so it’s fair to say I like keeping active.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve had to budget for on a project?
In one office project, we had to budget for a wall covered entirely in original vinyl record covers from Midlands artists — sourcing and mounting them cost a few thousand pounds!
What historic building would you love to work on?
The Tower of London — my background in history (it was my first degree) makes it a dream project.
What recent achievement are you proud of?
Achieving my FRICS designation from RICS, after completing a Masters in Construction Law and becoming an APC assessor — all alongside work and raising a young family.
