In 2024, Steve successfully led the mobilisation and delivery of an accelerated refurbishment programme spanning more than 150 hotel projects and totalling over £65 million. It was a complex, fast-moving challenge that demanded sharp coordination and a practical, proactive mindset.

How do you spend your time outside work?
I enjoy reading, gardening, and playing poker. I’ve always had a taste for adventure and have been lucky enough to experience everything from ice-rallying in Sweden to hiking across Iceland.
What project or moment stands out as particularly unusual?
Overseeing the set-build for a TV advert was certainly different, especially seeing the alternate construction techniques used to create visual effects quickly and convincingly.
