A high specification distribution facility for Siemens Mobility
This high specification facility on behalf of Hillwood Developments was let to Siemens Mobility prior to construction.
The development forms part of Siemens Mobility’s £200million train manufacturing plant and supply chain rail village in Goole, in East Yorkshire with excellent road and sea transport links. Planning requirements included soft landscaping to be sympathetic to the area to minimise the impact of the development for residents close to the site.
S38 works included the provision of roads connecting the site, footways and cycleways for the accessibility of both residents and those employed on the new development.
Practical Completion was achieved ahead of schedule and the building was delivered within budget. This project also achieved a BREEAM rating of “Very Good”.
